Salzburg, Austria
The “cities old town” with its baroque architecture is one the best preserved city centers in the German speaking world. The birthplace of Mozart, visit the Mozart museum. Have coffee and cake where Mozart sipped coffee, Cafe Tomaselli. Wonder by the Mozarteum music school, before entering the beautiful Mirabelle Gardens, where the Sound of Music was filmed. A day you won't forget!
Neuschwanstein Castle
(54 Euros plus 23 Euros for entry to castles, to be paid on the bus)
Day trip is approximately 9 hours. All travel costs to castle and entry to castle are included in fee, advanced reservation “no waiting in queues” for hours for internal castle tour.
The 10 century Romanesque revival palace is situated on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau in south west Bavaria, Germany. The place was commissioned by Ludwig ll of Bavaria as a retreat and in homage to Richard Wagner. The castle has appeared in many moves and was the inspiration to Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty castle. A trip not to miss!
